Mt. St. Helens - Harry Truman - Harry Truman was a caretaker of a lodge at Mt. St. Helens. Having been there nearly his entire life, he refused to leave and was killed when the mountain erupted on May 18, 1980, his lodge buried under 300 feet of water, ash and mud, no trace of it left behind.
