We are the Mortons. In June of 2005, we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. We have 4
adult children, only one of which still resides at home while attending college.
Fred, youngest of 3 boys, came from Hartford, CT. Marilly, second born of 5 girls, is a
native Oregonian. Fred was an educator for 20 years teaching everything from 2nd -12th grade.
Marilly was a full-time mother and part-time secretary. She home schooled their two youngest
children. We currently own 2 Subway stores in Portland, OR, and Fred is a Realtor for

Fred, as a teacher, is a life time learner. His passion is reading and sports. Marilly has a
passion for family, birds, and traveling. She has been to Hawaii, Nicaragua, The Netherlands,
Germany, Italy, and Switzerland.
To keep the international flavor in our home, we have exchange students during the school year.
To date, we have hosted two German students, one Japanese, two Koreans, and one Colombian.
